On 22 November 2024, Professors Pervaiz and Santha, conducted a full-day research methodology training at RMIT Saigon South. The session featured interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and case studies, enhancing participants’ research capacity.
The visit also opened new collaboration avenues, culminating in the signing of an MoU between Ï㽶ÊÓƵand RMIT Vietnam on 16 May 2025. Facilitated by Sunway IGSC, this partnership focuses on joint research, academic exchanges, and capacity-building in areas such as business innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship—advancing impactful collaboration across ASEAN.
Sunway IGSC, together with colleagues from Sunway University, participated in the National Level ICT Competition for Tamil School students organised by Pertubuhan Titian Digital Malaysia (PTDM) at Multimedia University, where the team also had the opportunity to engage with the Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo.
Sunway IGSC conducted site visits to three Penang-based organisations, CREST, INFINECS, and MPLEX, following their participation in the ROI- 2-ROV workshop in Penang.
Sunway IGSC hosted Prof. Venkatesh from Virginia Tech for a three-part workshop series aimed at strengthening research capability. The sessions covered theory development, research motivation, and academic writing, combining in-person and virtual formats.
