Malaysia Blue Economy Blueprint Study
Sunway IGSC is contributing to the Malaysia Blue Economy Blueprint Study, a national initiative led in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and partner institutions to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Malaysia’s blue economy sectors. Using the Return on Values (ROV) ecosystem framework developed by our team, we have engaged with a wide range of stakeholders through national and sectoral workshops, including validation sessions on waste management, to identify key gaps, strategies, and performance indicators. Insights gathered from over 120 representatives across government, industry, academia, NGOs, and coastal communities are shaping the blueprint, which will provide a roadmap for enhancing Malaysia’s blue economy in the years ahead.
