Biography

Dr. Pintu Lohar is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Sunway University. He received his PhD from Dublin City University, Ireland, with a focus on multilingual natural language processing (NLP).

He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the ADAPT Centre, where he was involved in building multilingual machine translation systems for economics and environmental domains across multiple European languages. His research interests include multilingual and multimodal NLP, low-resource language processing, and domain adaptation. Dr. Lohar has published in reputed international conferences and journals and actively contributes to teaching and research in computer science.
